The first double digit number,
Which has under it’s belt, nine little numbers
Gives you the feel of achieving a milestone,
And often makes you wonder.
The number has a great significance,
Which gives you a decade of experience,
To handle events and occurrences,
With maturity and tolerance.
The abacus to every child,
The ten little fingers are your guide,
Counting from one to ten,
They have always been your friend.
The first ten makes a decade,
Ten decades makes a century,
Ten centuries makes a millennium,
Years of a wonderful compendium.
Loved your entry for the prompt. 🙂

Thanks so much dear pradita. I’m no math genius. Mathematics has always been in my bad books 😑

Then how do you write such delightful pieces on the subject? I’m sure you have a hidden talent for numbers 😉

Well, then maybe I picked up some from my hubby and daughter. They are both very passionate about mathematics.😇 Thanks for your encouraging words.
