Kissing the horizon, are the beaming sun rays,
Oh! What a beautiful sight, to gaze,
The gigantic and radiant sun, slowly rising up,
Cajoling and coaxing the sleepy world to wake up..

Announcing it’s arrival, at the break of dawn,
The sleepy sunflowers snuggling to each other, with a yawn,
The motherly sky, lighting up and changing into her morning attire,
When the little sunflower maidens, gently inquire..
Could we nap a little longer,
We are still very sleepy, and would cherish some more slumber,
Peeping through their little baby eyes,
They are in for a huge surprise,
Catching a glimpse of the sun in all its splendor,
The little sunflowers, meander, to salute the sun in majestic grandeur !!

Basking in the glamour glow,
Walking the ramp, displaying a unique fashion show.

Warmth, beauty, splash of pride,
Aspiring, successful and smiling wide,
Kudos to the gorgeous models for the marvelous show,
An outstanding display of the creator, Oh wow, I take a bow !!

Chinese Whispers !!

Children getting thoroughly bored,

Gather together in the lavender household,

Discussion on what to play,

Or just sing and dance and sway.

Dumb charades or skipping,

Chinese whispers or dancing,

Hide and seek or running,

Or just sit down chit chatting…

Choices so many,

Siblings can’t seem to decide on any,

Accidentally standing and whispering words,

They finally played a game of Chinese whispers !!

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the most beautiful of us all?
All you pink ones are beauties,
You are color of creativity.

You represent the epitome of affection,
You are the very essence of creation,
You are the source of inner peace and harmony,
You bring a source of joy, to girls so many !!

You represent health and happiness,
You are a color of love and tenderness,
You are the creators exceptional pride,
You are beauty and charm personified !!

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Says it beautifully, all in all,
Tune in and listen to your inner call,
You are all the most beautiful of them all !!

Happy Birthday..

A floral frock printed with pretty pink roses,
Caught the attention of the little girl, in her closet,
She insisted, she wear the dress with pink roses,
The mother obliged, for how could she turn down the little ones behest !!

As she adorned the beautiful frock,
With a pair of matching pink socks,
Accessories complementing her golden locks,
Standing out, perfectly she was, amid her family folks.

Mama felt very proud to see her little princess,
Cuddling up to her she showered her with umpteen kisses,
The little one was blushing, and happy all day,
The finale was accentuated, as her friends came in to wish her Happy Birthday !!

The Golden Beauty…

Lo and behold, a solitary rose,
Beautiful and shy, a striking pose,
Dew drops adding to her exuberance,
Her calm and serene nature,
Emanating beauty and reverance.

Each petal absorbing the golden sunlight,
Radiating and beaming positive vibrations, shiny and bright,
Best wishes bundled in plenty, in this gorgeous rose,
Lo and behold, a solitary rose !!

Little girls in pink..

Little girls in pink flowery gowns,
Dancing for their annual show with beautiful crowns,
Swaying to the foot tapping music of the cool breeze,
Those who witnessed the dance event, cheered, once more please,
A big round of applause for the tiny girls who performed with grace and ease !!

Little orange Kids…

Children dressed in orange uniforms,
Waiting for the teacher to arrive,
Some discussing mysteries and problems,
Some gossipping, and some busy in jives,
The sight of the teacher,
Quietening down the little banters,
Energetic kids, mellowing down,
Forming a line , eyes gazing down, looking at shoes, muddy brown !!
