ज़िन्दगी और मौत का फासला

जिंदा हैं, तब जीना भूल जाते हैं लोग,
मौत जब सामने खड़ा हो, तब जीना चाहते हैं लोग।

जिंदा हैं, तब हजारों मर्तबा मरना चाहतें ह लोग,
जब मौत गले लगाना चाहता है, तब जीने का एक मौका चाहतें है लोग।

जिंदा हैं तब अपनों को जाने अंजाने चोट पहुंचाते हैं लोग,
मौत जब दस्तक देता है, तब अपनों को प्यार न दे पाने का अफ़सोस करतें हैं लोग।

जिंदा हैं, तब मिलने, हालचाल पूछने आए न आए लोग,
मरने पर श्रद्धांजलि के पुष्प चढ़ाने, आ ही जाते हैं लोग।

जिंदगी और मौत का फासला तय करते-करते,
कुछ खुशी खुशी जी ही लेते हैं जिंदगी,
मौत के अंजाने डर से, कुछ
पल पल मरते रहते हैं, जिंदगी ।।

If not, for the genuine tears that flow, who would care for the emotions,

If not, for the melancholy of grief, who would appreciate happiness,

If not, for the baffling complexities, who would recognize simplicity,

If not, for the hunger of needs, who would enjoy the cuisines of existence,

If not, for the bitter hatred, who would cherish the unconditional love,

If not, for death, who would care for the gift of invaluable life,

If not, for the deep desire of the soul within, who would care for the experiences !!

 

If everything we got or had would last forever, how would the quality of life be?

We enjoy life, because of the polarities that exist, which makes us strive for and also appreciate our blessings.

 You are my loyal friend, for till the end, you are with me.

When I am angry, you work at a rapid pace,

You are the only one who runs along with me in every race,

You are the most precious asset,

Taking care of you is the best bet,

From the time in the womb to birth, to death,

You are the life saving mechanism, 

I bow down to you for being there for me, my dear BREATH !!

On the cusp of life..

On the cusp of fear, emerges faith,

On the cusp of faith, emerges hope,

On the cusp of hope, emerges life,

On the cusp of life, emerges death.

It is a fraction of a moment,  when the two curves decide to meet at a point. It marks, the end of one and the beginning of the other.

Live every moment, for you know not, when the curves meet. Live like there’s no tomorrow. Live like you can make a difference today and now !!
